The SMB interface features a snap-on coupling mechanism and is available in 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm configurations. SMB connectors conform to the requirements of MIL-C-39012, and the interface is in compliance with MIL-STD-348. SMB connectors offer broadband performance with low reflection DC to 30 GHz and utilize die cast components on non-critical areas to provide a low-cost solution.
