Instructions & Mounting Tips
1.Install the antenna on your vehicle's rooftop or trunk lid using its magnetic base. The cable should be routed under the front windshield weatherstripping (or through another convenient opening) to the radio's SiriusXM tuner. It's important to mount the antenna outside your vehicle for the best reception.
2.Mount the antenna in a position that provides a clear view of the sky. Avoid obstructions such as metal objects or dense foliage that may interfere with signal reception.
3.Making the antenna perpendicular to the ground will result in better performance.
4.You can try moving the antenna to different locations to find a position with better reception in your car.
5.Cleaning the antenna connectors and interfaces of your devices might prevent bad contact.
6.Connector compatibility:Different aftermarket XM Sirius receivers/ tuners are equipped with various connectors, such as SMB connectors, Fakra pink connectors, Fakra curry connectors, etc. Ensure that your device has a SMB male connection to match the SMB female connector on this antenna. This ensures a proper connection for optimal signal reception.
